(LaPresse) – Hassan Hassanzadeh, commander of the Greater Tehran Guard, a unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, announced during a military ceremony that the Islamic Republic has moved beyond the defensive phase and is now poised to launch offensive operations. “Assault teams, units and divisions have been organised for special and lightning-fast operations,” stated the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Greater Tehran. “We are ready to intervene swiftly anywhere in the country and to destroy the enemy in any situation,” he added. “Even in the fields of missile technology, drones and naval capabilities,” he emphasised, “we have reached a level that prevents the enemy from achieving its objectives.” This was reported by Iran International.
