Milan, 10 Sept. (LaPresse) – A “threat to the plane” of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as it was taking off from Moldova “never existed; the Ukrainians themselves have already admitted this”. This was stated by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, responding to those who asked him to comment on reports that Zelensky’s plane had nearly been hit by a drone whilst taking off from Chisinau. Peskov also accused Kyiv of carrying out provocations “to involve their Western backers ever more deeply and directly in the war”. This was reported by the Russian news agency Interfax.
