Brussels, 15 Sep. (LaPresse) – “Once again, Europe has been faced with reckless and dangerous Russian behavior. A Russian warship fired emergency flares dangerously close to a Danish helicopter. A drone entered Lithuanian airspace before being shot down by NATO fighters. These are not isolated incidents. They are part of a broader pattern of Russian aggression and provocations against Europe, aimed at testing our readiness and determination. Russia will see our resolve further strengthened.” European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen writes this in X. “We are strengthening,” he added, “our collective deterrence and defense, together with NATO. And we are intensifying the pressure on Russia.”
