Turin, 20 Sept. (LaPresse) – Over 30 flights were unable to land at Moscow’s airports due to security restrictions linked to the Ukrainian drone attack on the capital. This was reported to the Tass news agency by spokespeople for Moscow’s airports. In particular, it was reported that around 25 flights bound for Sheremetyevo Airport, located north of the capital, were diverted. The flights were redirected to Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Cheboksary, St Petersburg, Samara and Nizhnekamsk. Around 10 flights were also unable to land at Vnukovo Airport, south-west of Moscow. These were flights from Hurghada, Novosibirsk, Fergana, Chelyabinsk, Istanbul, Dalaman, Dubai, Tashkent and Yekaterinburg.
