Milan, September 23 (LaPresse) – Russia will not suspend its special warfare to allow negotiations with Ukraine. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, speaking at a UN Security Council meeting on Ukraine. “Russia, as President Putin has repeatedly confirmed, is ready to negotiate to achieve precisely this kind of sustainable and just peace,” but “having learned from bitter experience, we will not suspend the special military operation for the duration of the negotiations, in whatever format they take place,” Lavrov stated, according to the Russian news agency RIA Novosti. Lavrov added that Europe is calling for a cessation of hostilities for one sole purpose: “buying time and replenishing the Kiev regime’s depleted military arsenals.”
