(LaPresse) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that Ukraine has specific agreements in place to obtain licences to manufacture missiles for the Patriot air defence systems. This was reported by Ukrinform, citing a conversation between the Kyiv leader and several media outlets. “There are specific agreements; President Trump emphasised during our last meeting that he had taken the final decision: Ukraine will receive licences to produce Patriot missiles,” said Zelensky, who went on to explain that, regarding a possible trilateral meeting between Russia, Ukraine and the US, “the American side has proposed organising it and meeting in a ‘technical’ format. “We are awaiting a proposal from the United States regarding the date.”
