(LaPresse/AP) – The Gaza Ministry of Health has stated that the Palestinian death toll has risen to 74,016 dead and 175,068 injured since the start of the war, which broke out on 7 October 2023, when militants led by Hamas attacked Israel, killing around 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and taking 251 hostages. Although the ceasefire that came into effect on 10 October brought an end to the heaviest fighting, Israeli attacks have continued. In Gaza City, an attack struck a car, killing one person and injuring several others, according to Shifa Hospital. Another Israeli attack in the Muwasi area of Khan Younis killed one person and injured three others, according to Nasser Hospital.
