Washington (USA), 28 Sept. (LaPresse) – Donald Trump’s approval rating has fallen to the lowest level ever recorded for a president just a few weeks before the mid-term elections. This is according to a new poll by the Wall Street Journal, in which Trump’s approval rating stands at 37 per cent – the lowest figure ever recorded by the newspaper for a president in the run-up to mid-term elections, based on data dating back to the administration of George H.W. Bush. The figure closest to Trump’s, recorded shortly before the mid-term elections, was that of former President George W. Bush, which stood at 39 per cent during his second term.
