(LaPresse) – A senior Israeli official told Channel 12 that “the most serious disaster has been averted” on the flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv that signaled an emergency and landed in Saudi Arabia. According to the official, there are growing indications that one of the pilots attempted to take control of the plane to crash it. The Times of Israel had previously reported unconfirmed reports, based on testimonies from passengers on board, that one pilot had attempted to crash the plane and was stopped by the other pilot with the passengers’ help. Some photos published by Israeli media show a passenger on board the plane wearing a blood-stained T-shirt.
