Middle East, Trump: “I don’t believe Netanyahu was warned about October 7”

Rome, Oct. 1 (LaPresse) – US President Donald Trump said he does not believe Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was warned about Hamas’s October 7 attack before it took place. “I really don’t. I think if he had known, he would have done something about it. He certainly would have at least put people on alert. It’s something you don’t forget. It was a terrible day,” the president said in an interview with Time. Speaking about Gadi Eisenkot, Netanyahu’s main challenger in the upcoming elections, Trump added: “I don’t hear anything bad about him.”
