In Paris, the entrance door of the Roger-Verlomme secondary school, located in the 15th arrondissement, was burnt in a serious fire this morning; Bfmtv reports that the damage is extensive, despite the rapid intervention of the fire brigade. In Strasbourg, clashes broke out between demonstrators and police near a university campus, where the police dispersed the crowd using tear gas and some demonstrators threw objects and street furniture at the officers. According to Bfmtv, a number of ‘casseurs’ dressed in black were present at the demonstration, and the march included both secondary school pupils and university students. The same broadcaster reports that three teenagers were arrested in Toulon, one of whom for setting off fireworks.
