This was stated by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in Kyiv during his second visit since taking office, according to a report in *Die Zeit*. “The fifth winter of war is about to begin for the population. Russia is bombing cities, homes and heating plants”, yet the Ukrainians are not allowing themselves to be cowed by Russia’s terror. “Today I will tell President Zelensky: ‘You can continue to count on our help’”, said the Chancellor.
