(LaPresse) – US President Donald Trump has shared a post on Truth by @’Shoenlaw’, the account of the law firm headed by David Schoen, criticising the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to Navi Pillay. “Today, the Nobel Committee has irreparably discredited itself and debased the once-prestigious Nobel Peace Prize by awarding it to Navi Pillay of the United Nations,” reads the post, in which the Nobel laureate is described as an “avowed hater” of the US and Israel. “In her role, she has celebrated terrorists and rewarded Hamas. She conducted a ‘sham investigation’, claiming to have established that Israel committed genocide and calling for legal proceedings. She has no credibility in any serious sphere and has never done anything to promote peace. On the contrary, she has done exactly the opposite,” the post continues. “But what could one expect from a committee that in the past awarded the once-coveted Peace Prize to Yasser Arafat?”, the post states.
