Rome, 11 Oct. (LaPresse) – The agreement between the US and Russia on diesel “is in direct opposition to the efforts of Ukraine, Canada and our allies to bring about peace and stability in Europe. It will provide Russia with further revenue and help to fund its illegal and unjustifiable war against Ukraine”. This was stated by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney during a telephone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Carney went on to emphasise “Canada’s unwavering support for Ukraine, its sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity”.
