Rome, 11 Oct. (LaPresse) – British Prime Minister Andy Burnham has stated that Russia “clearly” interfered in the 2016 Brexit referendum. Speaking on the ‘Rest is Politics’ podcast, Burnham said that, upon his arrival at 10 Downing Street this summer, he had asked whether Moscow had been involved in the vote, and had received “a clear and affirmative answer” on the matter. This is the first time a British Prime Minister has spoken openly about the Kremlin’s interference in the Brexit referendum.
