Milan, 14 Oct. (LaPresse) – “It’s painful. When President Trump chooses a side – not ours – it’s fine for him to stay neutral. But if you’re neutral, you have to stay neutral, not on the wrong side. I think Trump’s advisers are wrong. I don’t know who is pushing him towards the wrong side. This is not the right side of history.” This was stated by the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, in an interview with the British journalist Piers Morgan. Shortly before, Zelensky – responding to a question about the agreement reached by Donald Trump with Vladimir Putin on diesel and the US President’s announcement of an energy truce – had said he felt betrayed. “It’s a shame that we’re losing a strong partner” like the United States, Zelensky said.
