Milan, 14 Oct. (LaPresse) – In an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on Elon Musk to restore Starlink’s functionality. His appeal came after Ukraine reported today that its access to Starlink terminals had been severely restricted, hampering combat operations. Zelensky warned that “many people will die” and expressed the hope that the restrictions were the result of a technical error, stressing that he expects his partners to treat Ukraine fairly. “This decision will cause many casualties. People are dying because of this decision. Of course, if the attacks continue and Starlink isn’t working, it’s no help. My message is clear: I hope this is a mistake, perhaps a huge technical problem – I don’t know – but we are asking for it to be reactivated. I think that’s fair, as between partners,” said Zelensky in an interview with Piers Morgan.
