Rome, 15 Oct. (LaPresse) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. “He is well informed about the situation regarding the Russian attacks and their daily escalation. The Russians are using ‘Shahed’ drones almost constantly. Today alone, 52 people were injured. During the course of the day, there were Russian attacks on a shop, a pharmaceutical plant and logistics facilities. It is very important that Poland helps us defend ourselves against these attacks,” the Kyiv leader wrote on X. “We discussed in detail all the existing threats and the measures that will help strengthen our defence against Russian attacks. I also thanked Donald for his clear and principled stance on sanctions: there must be no measures that help Russia to continue this war. I thank Donald and Poland for the assistance provided to Ukraine,” he added.
