Frankfurt (Germany), 17 Oct. (LaPresse) – “The Strait of Hormuz is closed and the passage of ships of various nationalities through the strait is prohibited.” This was reiterated by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, according to the IRNA news agency. The Pasdaran also warned that ships violating Iranian regulations risk consequences similar to those suffered by a supertanker which, according to earlier reports, caught fire in the Strait of Hormuz after striking a naval mine. “The consequence for ships that violate Iranian regulations in the Strait of Hormuz is to burn in the fire of trust in the American terrorist army,” the Revolutionary Guards declared. Since yesterday, attacks have been reported against at least two other oil tankers off the coast of Saudi Arabia.
