France, Mélenchon takes to the streets in Paris: “Macron must give in”

Paris, 24 Oct. (LaPresse) – The leader of La France Insoumise, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, speaking from Porte d’Italie in Paris, urged President Emmanuel Macron to “give in”, arguing that afterwards “nothing else will remain but the way out”. Mélenchon deplored the change to the demonstration route and believes that “those in power” are creating “the conditions for disorder”. “Everything is in place to provoke an explosion”, he said, quoted by BfmTv, “don’t waste any more of our time, stop the provocations like the one today, which is petty”.
