Milan, 25 Oct. (LaPresse) – “Due to strong winds, a reduced number of departing and arriving flights is expected on Sunday 25 October. If you are flying to or from Schiphol, please allow for possible delays and cancellations.” This is according to a statement on Amsterdam Airport’s website. According to the Algemeen Dagblad, which quotes an airport spokesperson, dozens of flights have been cancelled due to Storm Boelo, as not all runways are available because of the strong winds, meaning fewer aircraft are able to land and take off.
