Rome, 26 Oct. (LaPresse) – “I hope that the Ukrainian side will respect all the agreements reached with the direct involvement of the American negotiators led by Melania Trump.” This was stated by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov regarding the humanitarian truce agreed for the Ukrainian town of Oleshky. “It could set a precedent for other areas where a humanitarian pause is needed,” Peskov added. “For humanitarian purposes, it is entirely possible, especially given the direct, very positive and coordinated involvement in this process by the United States, the American negotiators and the US First Lady, Melania Trump,” he said. “We greatly appreciate these efforts and, of course, this could set a precedent,” he added.
