Rome, 27 Oct. (LaPresse) – “It is a great privilege to go and vote, and I am proud that Michal and I have exercised every citizen’s fundamental right. I hope this will be a true celebration of democracy. No one should be allowed to spoil or undermine it.” Israeli President Isaac Herzog made these remarks after casting his vote alongside his wife in the Knesset elections in Jerusalem. “Today we are all equal. This is our day to make a difference and cast our votes,” he added, as quoted by the Israeli media.
