Ukraine: Moscow announces humanitarian ceasefire in Oleshky

Rome, 27 Oct. (LaPresse) – The humanitarian ceasefire in Oleshky has come into effect. Confirmation comes from the Russian Ministry of Defence’s Telegram account: “In connection with preparations for a humanitarian operation in the area of the village of Oleshky,” reads a post, “in the Kherson region, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have ceased fire in the direction of Kherson and introduced a ‘silence regime’ from 04:00 Moscow time on 27 October 2026.”
