This is the message addressed to European countries by Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, in a statement published in English on X last night. “Only yesterday, Europe was boasting about the dirty work carried out by the Zionist regime. Today, it is complaining about the billions that the war with Iran is costing it,” wrote Rezaei. “When you were applauding the war crimes, did you not think that the consequences would affect you too?” he added, concluding: “War and terrorism come at a price. Now it is your turn to pay.”
