Asked whether Washington could resume military operations against Iran as early as this week, Trump replied: “Why are you asking me such a stupid question?”, “I can’t tell you”. “Iran will never have a nuclear weapon. They want to reach an agreement, we’ll see what happens”, Trump said. The negotiations “are ongoing, but they are not very reliable. I’ll tell you this: they sign an agreement and then backtrack. They want a deal; we’ll see whether they reach one”.
