Milan, 1 Nov. (LaPresse) – Meghan Markle reportedly wanted to go public in 2019 with the allegations of child sexual abuse levelled against her father, Thomas Markle, but her royal bodyguards from the British Metropolitan Police advised her against it. This is according to the Daily Mail, which reports that one of her bodyguards from the Royal and Specialised Protection Service (RaSP) advised Meghan not to go public with the matter at a time when she was being criticised for cutting off contact with her father without providing any explanation. Her father had not attended the Sussexes’ wedding in 2018. The officer told her: “Leave it to us, we’ll look into it.” The Metropolitan Police, which has not investigated any of the allegations against Markle as the events took place abroad, is still trying to identify and track down the officer in question, according to The Times.
