Washington (USA), Nov. 2 (LaPresse) – “I would very much like to run again, if I had the opportunity, but the wording of the Constitution is very precise.” US President Donald Trump said this to Miranda Devine during the New York Post’s ‘Pod Force One’ podcast. “I would love to run. The other day, a poll was conducted in which I was well ahead of everyone else. I would like to run again, but that’s fine. We have more than two years left. That’s still a long time. A lot can be done during that period,” he said. In the past, Trump has repeatedly raised the possibility of running for a third term, but has also referred to the clear limitation set out in the Twenty-second Amendment to the US Constitution, which prohibits anyone from being elected president more than twice.
