Washington (US), 3 Nov. (LaPresse) – We will probably have to wait until Wednesday, if not even longer, to get a clear picture of how these mid-term elections have actually gone. However, some states – and certain counties within those states – may already provide an indication tonight, by which time it will be past midnight in Italy, as to whether the Democrats might win or the Republicans hold their ground. Here are the states to watch (times are US Eastern Time): Kentucky (polls begin to close at 6.00 pm); Florida (polls close at 7.00 pm); Virginia (polls begin to close at 7.00 pm); Ohio (polls begin to close at 7.30 pm); North Carolina (polls begin to close at 7.30 pm); Pennsylvania (polls begin to close at 8.00 pm).
