Turin, June 10 (LaPresse) – Claudio Ranieri will not be the next head coach of the Italian national team. According to LaPresse, the current Roma coach initially declined the FIGC’s offer to focus on his future role as senior advisor for the Giallorossi, despite reassurances from president Gabriele Gravina about the compatibility of the two roles. The federation will therefore begin searching for a new coach to replace Luciano Spalletti, who yesterday, during the World Cup qualifying match against Moldova, sat on the Azzurri bench for the last time.
