Ukraine, Piantedosi: ‘America is not the bad one they represent’

Milan, ‘03 Mar (LaPresse) – ’I cautiously say that America is not the bad one that the current vulgate now tends to portray, there are still great expressions of American culture today. America has been capable of a humanitarian approach in all the key events of history. They liberated us from the greatest evils of the 20th century, which were Nazi-fascism and communism, the cancer of European society in the 20th century'. These were the words of Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi, during his speech at the conference ‘The Victims of Hate at the Shoah Memorial’, organised by the Observatory for Security Against Discriminatory Acts, at the Shoah Memorial in Milan, regarding the meeting between the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump.
