F1, China GP: Piastri wins ahead of Norris. Leclerc finishes fifth

Milan, March 23 (LaPresse) – McLaren continues to dominate in the Chinese Grand Prix, the second race of the Formula 1 World Championship season. The victory went to Australian Oscar Piastri, who, starting from pole position, led the entire race, finishing ahead of his teammate Lando Norris, who made a great start to overtake Mercedes' George Russell, who finished third. Max Verstappen's Red Bull took fourth place, never in contention for the win but managed to climb up after a tricky start. Ferrari struggled, with Charles Leclerc finishing only fifth, overtaking Lewis Hamilton on lap 21 after a dangerous contact between the two at the start. The British driver, struggling with his tires, had to settle for sixth place. Italian 18-year-old Kimi Antonelli finished eighth in the other Mercedes. Fernando Alonso was forced to retire early in his Aston Martin. The next Formula 1 race will be on April 6 with the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka.
