A man of deep Catholic faith, beatified in 2021, demonstrating the importance of his work,” wrote Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on X on the 35th anniversary of Judge Rosario Livatino’s killing.
“Today, on the anniversary of his death,” Meloni added, “I want to remember his sacrifice and his actions, carried out without ever bowing his head, so that our generation and future ones do not forget and can continue the path of struggle against all forms of the mafia.”
