School, Mattarella at Nisida: “It Is a Vehicle for the Future for Everyone, Wherever They Are”

Rome, Sept. 22 (LaPresse) – “School is a vehicle for the future, and that concerns everyone, wherever they are. That is why this year the school year is being opened with three stages, at three different moments: here, where there is a school attended successfully; in a hospital, where children hospitalized for long periods can study by following lessons; and finally, a school in the city. The future concerns everyone, which is why there are these three stages this year. As Jovanotti aptly said, we discover ourselves in school, we build the future, we find talents, test them, understand them, and interpret them.” Thus spoke President Sergio Mattarella, addressing the students of the school at the Nisida juvenile detention center.
