Rome, 2 October (LaPresse) – ‘I can’t wait to get off to a strong start. We’ll be using the same bike as at Motegi and we’ll see what we can do. In the past, we had to fix problems, but that shouldn’t be the case anymore. The best I can do is try to get second place. Alex has done a great job so far, 66 points is a lot, but I’ll try my best to close the gap.’ So said Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia at a press conference ahead of the Indonesian Grand Prix. ‘I think I can continue on the path I started in Japan,’ explained the Ducati rider. ‘This track has never been easy for me, and I’ll have to try to adapt. I’ve already spoken with the team about the setup. I don’t mind the track, though. Let’s see if we can be competitive right away.’
