Soccer, Cristante: “A little experience is needed in the youth national team”

Florence, Oct. 9 (LaPresse) – “It’s a group with a lot of young players, and a little experience always helps.” So said 30-year-old Bryan Cristante, midfielder for Roma and the national team, today in Florence at a press conference at the federal technical center in Coverciano, where the Azzurri are preparing for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Estonia on Saturday, October 11, in Tallinn, and Israel on Tuesday, October 14, in Udine. “I found a peaceful environment where everyone helps each other,” Cristante emphasized, adding: “We are very happy” about the peace agreement between Israel and Hamas, “we were all hoping for it and now we hope that the stadium in Udine will be full and give us the boost we need.”
