Turin, 10 October (LaPresse) – Arthur Rinderknech defeats Felix Auger-Aliassime and qualifies for the semi-finals of the Shanghai Masters 1000, currently underway on the hard courts of the Chinese metropolis. The Frenchman, ranked 54th in the ATP rankings, triumphed in two sets with a score of 6-3, 6-4 in an hour and a half of play. Today’s defeat complicates the Canadian’s – ranked 13th in the world – pursuit of the ATP Finals in Turin in a head-to-head with Lorenzo Musetti, who was knocked out in the round of 16 in Shanghai by Auger-Aliassime.
