Turin, 10 October (LaPresse) – Michele Pirro will replace Marc Marquez on the official Ducati in the Australian Grand Prix after the accident in the Indonesian Grand Prix. The Italian rider, a long-time test rider for the Emilia-based manufacturer with extensive racing experience, will be making his 70th MotoGP appearance in Australia. At the moment, it is still unknown who will replace Marquez, who will also miss the next round of the World Championship in Sepang, Malaysia.
