Florence, Oct 12 (LaPresse) – The regional elections have started in Tuscany, marking the last round before the November election day, when Puglia, Campania, and Veneto will also conclude their 2025 regional votes on the 23rd and 24th. Incumbent governor Eugenio Giani (PD) is running for the center-left, while the center-right is backing Pistoia’s mayor Alessandro Tomasi. Antonella Bundu is also a candidate for the left-wing list Toscana Rossa. Polls will be open until 11 p.m. today and from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow, with counting starting immediately after the polls close.
