MotoGP, Ducati: season over for Marc Marquez

Rome, Oct 23 (LaPresse) – Season over for Marc Marquez following the injury sustained at the Indonesian GP. Ducati announced this. “Marc Marquez underwent a further medical examination at the Ruber International Hospital (Madrid), where doctors Raúl Barco, Samuel Antuña, and Ignacio Roger confirmed that the Spanish rider will not be able to return to the track for the season finale and will miss the Portuguese Grand Prix, the Valencian Community Grand Prix, and the test day at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit (Cheste) scheduled for November 18,” reads the statement. “The medical team monitoring his recovery confirmed that the clinical progress of the coracoid fracture and ligament injury is positive and proceeding normally. However, Marc will have to spend four weeks with his arm completely immobilized before starting rehabilitation, so it is impossible to consider his return to competition this year.” Ducati Corse will announce after the Malaysian Grand Prix who will replace Marquez for the last two Grands Prix of 2025.
