NBA: betting investigation, Rozier and Billups arrested

Rome, 23 October (LaPresse/AP) – Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier and Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups have been arrested as part of a federal investigation into sports betting, according to sources close to the matter who spoke to the Associated Press. The charges against the two have not been disclosed, and the NBA has not yet issued a statement on the matter. But according to one of the sources heard by AP, Rozier had already been under investigation by the American basketball league, which is also reportedly looking into the position of former Detroit player Malik Beasley. The Heat player was arrested today, and his team has not commented on the arrest.
