Milan, 5 November (LaPresse) – Novak Djokovic’s participation in the ATP Finals in Turin is far from certain. The Serbian champion himself, former world number one and record holder for Grand Slam tournament victories, spoke after his victory against Chilean Alejandro Tabilo at the Athens tournament. Djokovic responded to FITP president Angelo Binaghi, who said on Monday on Gr Parlamento’s “La Politica nel Pallone” programme that: ‘We have had confirmation that Djokovic will be in Turin.’ Nole’s words were quite different. ‘I don’t know where he got this information, certainly not from me or my team! I will decide at the end of the tournament!’ he said, speaking to the local media at a press conference. Djokovic’s non-participation could open the doors to the Finals for Lorenzo Musetti, even if he fails to win the Athens tournament.
