Milan, 5 Nov. (LaPresse) – Six games were played last night in the NBA, with the Oklahoma City Thunder remaining undefeated with eight consecutive victories. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and his teammates defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 126-107 thanks to 30 points and 12 assists from the Canadian guard. James Harden’s 25 points were not enough for the Clippers. Also in the West, the Golden State Warriors beat the Phoenix Suns 118-107 with 28 points from Steph Curry. After six consecutive defeats, the New Orleans Pelicans secured their first victory against the Charlotte Hornets 116-112. In the East, the Chicago Bulls came back from a 24-point deficit to beat the Philadelphia 76ers 113-111 thanks to a decisive three-pointer by Nikola Vucevic with three seconds left. The Montenegrin finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Josh Giddey recorded a triple-double with 29 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists. Tyrese Maxey’s 39 points were not enough for Philadelphia. The Milwaukee Bucks suffered a shock defeat, losing 128-100 at the Toronto Raptors despite Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 22 points. Finally, the Atlanta Hawks beat the Orlando Magic 127-112 with Zaccharie Risacher scoring 21 points, while Paolo Banchero’s 22 points and 11 rebounds were not enough for the Florida team.
