Football: Serie A, Atalanta-Sassuolo 0-3, Berardi scores twice

Rome, 9 November (LaPresse) – Fabio Grosso’s Sassuolo secured an important victory in Bergamo, beating Ivan Juric’s Atalanta 3-0 in the Serie A match on the eleventh day of the season. The Neroverdi took the lead with a penalty by Berardi in the 29th minute. In the second half, the Nerazzurri responded with Djimsiti and De Ketelaere, but the visitors immediately doubled their lead with Pinamonti in the 47th minute. Juric also brought on Scamacca, but the Bergamo side was unable to find the back of the net. Berardi sealed the deal with his second goal in the 66th minute. Sassuolo moved up to 16 points in eighth place, while Atalanta, who have only won two of their 11 games, remain on 13 points.
