ATP Finals: Zverev defeats Shelton in his debut

Turin, 10 November (LaPresse) – Alexander Zverev defeated Ben Shelton in the match valid for the “Bjorn Borg” group – the same group as Jannik Sinner – at the ATP Finals in Turin. The German tennis player won in two sets with a score of 6-3, 7-6 (6) in one hour and 34 minutes of play. The world number three, after easily leading the first set, came back to win the tie-break in the second set after being down 6-3, saving three set points and scoring four points in a row.
