General Assembly on Birth Rates, Mattarella: “It is the duty of the State to enable citizens to become parents”

Rome, Nov. 27. (LaPresse) – “In a democratic state such as our Republic, birth rate issues are characterized in other terms as a high expression of the duty of public institutions to enable citizens to freely express their vocation to parenthood, in the interest of the common good.” Thus spoke the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, speaking at the ‘States General of Birth Rates’, currently underway in Rome.
