Gaza, Israeli army receives “relics” of a hostage from the Red Cross

Milan, Dec. 2 (LaPresse) – According to a statement from the Israeli Prime Minister’s office, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) troops in the Gaza Strip recently received unspecified “relics” from the Red Cross, which had previously been handed over by Hamas. The IDF examined the relics and held a brief ceremony presided over by a military rabbi. The remains will now be escorted by police to the Abu Kabir forensic institute in Tel Aviv for identification. It is still unclear to whom they belong, and Hamas has not officially announced today that it intends to return the remains of the last two hostages still in the Gaza Strip, Staff Sergeant Ran Gvili and Thai citizen Sudthisak Rinthalak.
