Rome, 3 Dec. (LaPresse) – “The economic budget for 2026 allows Italy to exit the excessive deficit procedure already next year, without giving up the objectives we set ourselves from the beginning of our term. One of these is supporting businesses and those who produce and create wealth and employment in Italy.” This was stated by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in a message sent to the assembly of Confimi Industria.
“With this budget law,” Meloni recalled, listing the measures for businesses, “we reintroduce super and hyper-depreciation, two tools highly appreciated by companies and particularly effective in supporting investments in innovation and the ecological transition. We provide stability, for the next three years, to the tax credit for investments made in the ZES Unica, with a total allocation of over 4 billion. We also refinance the Nuova Sabatini program and confirm the 120% super deduction on labor costs to encourage new hiring.”
“Tangible and effective measures to provide answers to a productive fabric that in recent years has proven capable of facing epochal crises and unexpected shocks,” added the Prime Minister. “We are fully aware that there are many issues to resolve, but we have no intention of backing down. I am thinking, for example, of energy costs: a matter that is very important to the entire Government and on which we are working to offer concrete solutions,” concluded the Prime Minister.
