Milan, Dec. 19 (LaPresse) – INPS has today completed the payment of over 580,000 Mothers’ Bonuses, for a total amount of approximately €242 million, supporting working mothers with two or more children. The measure, provided for by Article 6 of Decree-Law No. 95 of June 30, 2025, converted into Law No. 118 of August 8, 2025, was regulated by INPS Circular No. 139 of October 28, 2025, and represents a structural income support intervention in favor of female employment. Out of around 675,000 applications received, the Institute has already processed 580,238 payments, confirming a high responsiveness and a significant reduction in processing times. For working mothers who meet the requirements by December 31, 2025, it will be possible to submit applications until January 31, 2026. Related payments will be made by February 2026. “This benefit,” said INPS President Gabriele Fava, “is part of the broader family support plan promoted by the Government and confirms concrete attention to working women. The complete digitalization of the procedure has allowed us to simplify access to the measure, significantly reduce processing times, and ensure fast and reliable responses. It is a concrete example of how administrative innovation can translate into more effective services for citizens.”
