Zurich, Jan. 9 (LaPresse) – The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, made a stop at Zurich hospital before heading to Matigny, where he will attend the commemoration ceremony for the victims of the Crans-Montana massacre, to meet the families of the two young patients hospitalized in Switzerland. The Head of State then spoke with the doctors, whom he thanked along with the Civil Protection staff. “I came here to thank you and to convey to the parents of the young people the participation and sentiment of all Italy, involved in the anguish over what happened and in the hope that the young people can resume their lives in the best possible way,” Mattarella said. The President will travel by plane to Geneva and then continue by car to Matigny.
